The ombuds representative is an independent, confidential resource available to assist employees, visitors, contractors, and students affliated with NRAO in resolving problems, complaints, conflicts, and other issues when normal processes or procedures have not worked satisfactorily, or when you just don't know where to go for help. WHY GO TO THE OMBUDS REPRESENTATIVE?The Ombudsperson is ConfidentialThe Ombuds representative will not identify you or discuss your concerns with anyone without your permission. She/he can arrange private confidential meetings at your convenience. The Ombudsperson is IndependentThe Ombuds representative works toward resolution of problems based on principles of fairness, regardless of the parties involved. The Ombudsperson is ImpartialThe Ombuds representative does not take sides. The rights and interests of all parties will receive equal consideration. See an Ombudsperson if you have a problem, concern, or issue and:You don't know where to go for help. You've been there, done that, and gotten nowhere.
