A block of rooms has been reserved for Thursday and Friday, May 13 and 14. The Marriott reservation system is apparently very literal. If you attempt to arrive a day earlier, you will be informed that there are no rooms available (as none had been reserved for the 12th). Currently, the system only recognizes the ALMA rooms as being on the 13th and 14th. You will have to start with those dates and then extend the reservations to the earlier (or later) days. We are working to rectify this situation and hope that it will be cleared up quickly. We apologize for this inconvenience.

The local organizing committee has arranged for blocks of rooms to be available for conference participants at the University Conference Center (a full service hotel which is part of the Marriott Corporation). Following are phone number, fax, and daily rates (which we believe, but cannot guarantee, to be current) for singles and doubles at the Conference Center. Please contact the hotel DIRECTLY for reservations, and indicate that you are an attendee of the ALMA Science Meeting.

NOTE:  Please make your reservations early.  Room blocks are generally held until approximately one month before the conference. While you may still make reservations after these dates, it will be strictly on a first come -- first served basis.
