Post Meeting Trip: NRAO Green Bank

On Oct. 4, 2003, the NRAO will be sponsoring a bus tour to the NRAO Green Bank site, home of the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope, the world's largest fully steerable radio telescope.

The bus will depart from the Holiday Inn Central in D.C. at 7:00 a.m., and arrive at Green Bank around 11:00 a.m. The tour will consist of a lunch with an overview lecture, a tour of the new Science Center at Green Bank, and a tour of the site, including the GBT.

There will be an extra fee of $25.00. Seating will be limited. For more information and to reserve a place on the bus, contact Charles Blue.
