Community Open House at the NRAO in Charlottesville Sunday, April 27, 2008 • 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
For ages 5-15 - Complete your "Passport to the Universe" and enter the drawing to win a $500 U.S. Savings Bond. Drawing will be held at 3:45 p.m. Must be present to win. In the evening, there will be a special open house at UVa's McCormick Observatory from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Weather permitting, viewing through all of the telescopes will be possible. In addition, there will be audio-visual presentations, museum exhibits, and tours of the Observatory.
