PROJECT:

Did your science project interest you? Do you feel it is scientifically important?


Did your advisor give you a clear overview of the importance of your project? Were they able to answer questions?


Was the daily supervision of your work adequate? Were you sometimes "stuck" on a problem and unable to obtain help in a reasonable amount of time?


Did you learn new skills? If so, what?


Were the main goals of your project achievable in 10-12 weeks?


Do you and your advisor plan to publish results of your summer research, or to present the results at a professional meeting? (The REU program can pay some of your costs... see www.nrao.edu/students/NRAOstudents_aas.shtml).


Will your summer research be useful to you for e.g. a senior thesis, or other continuing activity at your school?
